The State of FeedLounge is an update from Alex King regarding where development of this highly anticipated online feed reader sits. It appears that the beta will be launched on January 16, 2006 and only paying members will have the ability to use it. This is part of a schema where the paying members will basically help fund the site for the free version, which launches later in the year. I am really looking forward to this launch; I do not feel there is a “perfect” feed reader available though based on watching FeedLounge’s progress, of which I am not an alpha tester, I believe it will be the closest there is to achieving that goal.
